This week on Open Sources Guelph, we’re increasing the labour pre-Labour Day! Starting this week, and for the next several weeks, we will be covering the mayor and city council elections here in the Royal City by not just talking to some of the candidates… We’re going to talk to all of them! Well, we’re at least going to try and talk to all the ones that want to talk to us. First up, we’ve got five perspective city councillors, some who are incumbents and some who are challengers!
This Thursday, September 3, at 5 pm, Scotty Hertz and Adam A. Donaldson will discuss:
Election Roulette Round #1. The 2026 municipal elections is underway, and by the time we get to the end of Election Day on October 26 there will be at least five new city councillors and a new mayor for Guelph. Like we did in 2022, Open Sources Guelph are dedicated to highlighting as many candidates as possible, and every week we are talking to five of the people running for a seat at city hall. On this edition, we’re talking to Troy Bridgeman, Kevin Bowman, Katherine Hauser, Morgan Dandie, and Phil Allt.
Open Sources is live on CFRU 93.3 fm and cfru.ca at 5 pm on Thursday.
