This week on Open Sources Guelph, election fever is becoming an election pandemic! (Too soon?) Now that Labour Day and Back to School is in the rearview mirror we can dedicate all of our attention to our local elections, and that’s exactly what we’re going to do on this edition with another quintet of candidates including a young person, another young person, a young mother, a business owner, and an incumbent.
This Thursday, September 10, at 5 pm, Scotty Hertz and Adam A. Donaldson will discuss:
Election Roulette Round #2. The 2026 municipal elections is underway, and by the time we get to the end of Election Day on October 26 there will be at least five new city councillors and a new mayor for Guelph. Like we did in 2022, Open Sources Guelph are dedicated to highlighting as many candidates as possible, and every week we are talking to five of the people running for a seat at city hall. On this edition, we’re talking to Laura McQuillen, Dakota Cherry, Cathy Downer, Owen Martens, and Michael Barber.
