This week on Open Sources Guelph, it’s time to look at Ontario politics again. In other news, we’ll also talk about the global and local effects of our newly-minted pandemic, and we’ll head to Europe where there’s new concerns about the treatment of migrants at one particular border. So in the first half we’re going to talk about the latest on the protests supporting the Wet’suwet’an hereditary chiefs, and the escalating friction between the Ontario government and teachers. This week on Open Sources Guelph we finally have an election in progress to talk about, just not the one we were expecting. Yup, the writ has been drawn up in Manitoba for a provincial election there, but before we get into those issues, we’ve got stuff to talk about right here in Ontario as our Premier tried to convince the cities he’s done so much too that he’s not such a bad guy. Of course, we weren’t the ones demoted from being finance minister after just one budget, but it’s hard to believe that’s a cause for celebration. We’re going to cover the upheaval at Queen’s Park last week, and speaking of disasters, we’ll revisit the Trump White House again.
