Old Man Calls Duffy a “Zero” and Calls Media “Pieces of $#!%”

Former Stephen Harper Chief of Staff Nigel Wright was on the stand for something like 71st day in a row at the trial of Senator Mike Duffy today. Every day on the campaign trail, Harper is getting pelted with questions from the media concerning what he knew and when, which, admittedly, can get tiresome for anyone interested in knowing more about the Conservative platform or any subject not involving the words “senate” and “expenses.” So in what’s sure to be one of the most re-played moments of the election, one person decided to stick up for his man Harper in the wake of mounting and deafening media demands for answers with hilarious results. NDP Rips Off Jon Stewart to Slam Conservatives

Look, it’s been a rough week for Prime Minister Stephen Harper. A lot of new details revealed in the Nigel Wright testimony at the Mike Duffy trial has not reflected well on him and his administration, and questions about the specifics continued to dog the PM as he hit a hardware store on the campaign trail today. VIDEO: Now This is How You Run for Office

Ever heard of Wyatt Scott? No reason you should have, he’s an entrepreneur and a married father of one living in the Fraser Valley. He’s also running for Parliament, hoping that the residents of Mission Matsqui Fraser Canyon cast their vote for him on Election Day. He’s an independent candidate running on a platform of universal post-secondary education, reaffirming the rights of Canada’s Indigenous People, and protecting our natural resources. He’s one of those candidates that doesn’t get a lot of press and quietly goes about his campaign trying to shed light on causes and issues that don’t get the lion’s share of media attention. LIVE BLOG – Rogers/Macleans Federal Leaders Debate

Tonight is the accidental first major campaign event of the 2015 Federal Election. I have taken up residence at the Penny Whistle pub in downtown Guelph where the local NDP is hosting a debate watch. Obviously, they’re riled up because they’re banking on their man Mulcair to take the night as the next step on the long ladder to the Prime Minister’s Office. Can he do it?
