OSG Will Cover U.S. Election Night

The end is nigh. Whether that’s the end of this terrible election cycle or the end of the world, that’s entirely up to how the American electorate will cast its vote on Tuesday, but one thing’s for certain: Open Sources Guelph will be going live to air to cover the whole darn thing. When you tune in your radio to 93.3 FM – or tune in your web browser to cfru.ca – on Tuesday at 8 pm, the CFRU election team will bring you all the blow-by-blows from Bangor to Sacramento, from Anchorage to Orlando, and all points in between as we wait and see if America makes history by electing its first female president or makes history by decided to end it all in star-spangled, Cheeto-dust-covered glory!

Open Sources co-host Scotty Hertz will lead election night coverage with freelance curmudgeon Oliver Rockside and CFRU numbers man Christopher Currie in studio, calling out all the latest results and news from races all across America. The evening will also feature insights and conversations with Americans, an interview with an actually “third party” presidential candidate, and a chat with Michael Forbes, subject of the documentaries You’ve Been Trumped and You’ve Been Trumped Too. The other half of Open Sources Guelph, Adam A. Donaldson, will also call in as his work schedule allows.

Coverage will begin at 8 pm and run until 11 pm on CFRU, available at 93.3 fm on the radio or by clicking the “listen now” icon at the top right hand corner of the screen at cfru.ca. You can also listen to CFRU on Channel 948 on Rogers Cable, and you can connect to the show through social media on Facebook and Twitter. Also, remember to listen to Open Sources Guelph in its regular tinsel Thursday at 5 pm to hear all the post-election insight and analysis. Assuming we survive that long…
