This week on Open Sources Guelph, everyone loves a parade. This could be a reference to the Fourth of July sideshow that Trump is putting on today, but it could just as easily be a reference to his parade of embarrassments and scandals in the last week alone. Along with that, we’ll talk about the protests in Hong Kong, the politics of cartooning, and a Supreme Court case that should have a positive effect on victims of rape seeking justice in Canada. Open Sources Show Notes for Thursday February 28, 2019

This week on Open Sources Guelph, we’ll be ping-ponging between matters at home and abroad. In Canada, the leader of the NDP will finally be back in the Commons after winning one of three contentious by-elections, and in Ontario, controversies continue to pile up for the provincial government. Meanwhile, in Vietnam, two world leaders are meeting to accomplish something, while “something” seems to be exactly what we got from the Vatican’s meeting on sex abuse last week. Yay! Open Sources Show Notes for Thursday June 14, 2018

It’s back to normal this week on Open Sources Guelph! While the election (one election) is over and done with, there’s still a lot to dissect after Thursday’s vote, and we will dissect all those details on multiple levels be they local, regional and provincial. And since the election has forced us to take a break from U.S. stuff for a while, we’ll check back in with our orange friend south of the border, who has now started mixing it up with Justin Trudeau, and just before he tried to see if he can make a new friend in North Korea.
