This week on Open Sources Guelph will formally start our transition to getting through these last few episodes before our Christmas break and the end of 2020. Still, it’s been another busy seven days in the news business, and we will spend our hour catching up with the Biden transition, and the creeping of conspiracy theories in Canada. Staying in Canada, we will also talk about the back end problems with the CERB, and how housing is still an issue despite the pandemic. Open Sources Show Notes for November 7, 2019

This week on Open Sources Guelph, it seems like we’re all about endings and separations. We’ve got a growing number of people out west eager to start their own country, we’ve got a Federal party leader leaving her job behind, and we have the U.K. holding an election to decided if they’re really leaving the E.U. this time. On the other hand, it looks like transit expansion might be starting in Toronto, and, if there’s time, we’ll consider the question why someone thinks that Ben Mulroney is the savior of the Conservative Party. Open Sources Guelph is always looking for efficiencies, so just like Doug Ford we’re going to cut everything in half! Half the time, half the issues, half the hosts… Just kidding, we wouldn’t do that to Scotty! In all seriousness, we’re going to spend half the show this week taking a serious look at the municipal elections this fall, both the things that Ford has done and the things he hasn’t done. In the second half of the show, we’ll talk about the latest, and sorta surprising #MeToo development, and whether owning the libs is a smart political strategy. Open Sources Show Notes for Thursday July 12, 2018

Look up in the sky! It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s a balloon shaped like the President of the United States as a baby, and it’s going to fly over London in honour of his visit to the United Kingdom! We’re going to try and stay grounded on this week’s Open Sources Guelph, but we’ll still be looking over matters provincially and globally on this edition of the show. We’ll check on the Throne Speech here in Ontario, consider our own border issues here in Canada, and then go international with the man who inspired the balloon, and the internal political strife of one of the places he’s visiting.
