As we’re getting closer to Election Day – a week-and-a-half now! – we’re down to the last few candidates on the 2019 ballot in Guelph, and this week, both candidates are both old friends of the show. Ever heard of Wyatt Scott? No reason you should have, he’s an entrepreneur and a married father of one living in the Fraser Valley. He’s also running for Parliament, hoping that the residents of┬áMission Matsqui Fraser Canyon cast their vote for him on Election Day. He’s an independent candidate running on a platform of universal post-secondary education, reaffirming the rights of Canada’s Indigenous People, and protecting our natural resources. He’s one of those candidates that doesn’t get a lot of press and quietly goes about his campaign trying to shed light on causes and issues that don’t get the lion’s share of media attention. And that’s probably why he created this, perhaps the best campaign video ever produced. Continue reading
