Our municipal election is coming to a close, and so is the municipal election coverage on Open Sources Guelph. We know, don’t try and hide your disappointment. In the season finale of our coverage, we will welcome to the show the second of two mayoral candidates in this election, a man who is no stranger to the Open Sources audience or the Open Sources hosts.
This Thursday, October 11 at 5 pm, Scotty Hertz and Adam A. Donaldson will discuss:
Viva le Cam?! In our last interview before the election, we welcome back to the studio Mayor Cam Guthrie! Now Guthrie has been on the show before as the present Mayor of Guelph, but this week he’s trying to convince you why he should still be the Mayor after October 22. Having made the transfer from insurance agent to city councillor, and then mayor, many people thought that Guthrie has his sights set on higher office, but Guthrie seems to like the mayor’s office just fine, and he’s trying to keep his seat in it. We’ll be asking Mayor Guthrie about his record, his experience as the head of Guelph thus far, and what he hopes to achieve in the next four years. Plus, we’ll have your questions too!
FYI: Open Sources Guelph will be doing a live election night special! Tune in to hear the results from Guelph, and other races around Ontario from 8 to 10 pm on October 22!!
Open Sources is live on CFRU 93.3 fm and cfru.ca at 6 pm on Thursday.
