Open Sources (Ep. #445) Show Notes for October 12, 2023

This week on Open Sources Guelph, we’ve got to get serious for bit. Well, more serious. As we were enjoying the Thanksgiving long weekend, there was no rest for the people in Israel and the Gaza Strip and now a full-scale war seems to be inevitable. In lighter news though, there’s more dysfunction in the Republic Party for us to laugh at, and for the interview this week, we’ll head back up Highway #7 to visit another provincial election candidate. Open Sources (Ep. #413) Show Notes for February 16, 2023

This week on Open Sources Guelph, we’re feeling the love. Yes, it’s two days after Valentine’s Day technically, but the love for covering hot button issues and concerning political trends burns strong. On the menu today is a variety of topics including a new conflict of interest scandal for the premier, and a new sex scandal for the Mayor of Toronto. Abroad, we will look at the latest developments around a year-long war, and the same old same old from the death cult that now runs the American legislature. Open Sources (Ep. #408) Show Notes for January 5, 2023

This week on Open Sources Guelph we’re back at work! That was a nice holiday break but the news doesn’t stop, even though we do (for a time). So on this show, we’re catching up with the crazy politics of the United States, which did not take a holiday break, and we will catch up with the War in Ukraine because there was no holiday break there either. Open Sources (Ep. #384) Show Notes for July 7, 2022

This week on Open Sources Guelph, we’re going back to the swamp. It’s been a pretty consequential week for anyone that wants to see You-Know-Who held to account, and speaking of losers, we will talk about all the ways that some people are making life harder for all our LGBTQ2+ friends. In the second half of the show, we will go out into Wellington County to make new friends… who will soon retire from politics. Continue reading “Open Sources (Ep. #384) Show Notes for July 7, 2022”

Open Sources (Ep. #381) Show Notes for June 16, 2022

This week on Open Sources Guelph, we get back into the swamp. After that, we’ll talk to another old friend from Guelph City Council and ask about the recently wrapped up budget process at City Hall. Continue reading “Open Sources Show Notes for December 5, 2019”

Open Sources Show Notes for Thursday July 25, 2019

This week on Open Sources Guelph, we’re wondering if anyone’s going on summer vacation. In Ottawa, the news keeps coming even as we’re counting down to a fall election. In the United States, the special counsel is back in the news despite his best efforts. In the U.K. there’s a new sheriff in town, and he’s going to make people do what he wants on Brexit (apparently). And finally, not to disturb your calm, but the rent is pretty damn expensive here in Canada, and we have the data to prove it now.  Continue reading “Open Sources Show Notes for Thursday July 25, 2019”
